Graphic Arts / Design education or equivalent experience
Proficiency with digital prepress applications (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
In-depth experience with digital color management
3+ years of experience in the digital printing industry with excellent communication, public speaking and technical writing skills

Our Digital Inkjet division is looking to add a talented Technical Trainer to join our Service and Support Team. This will be a remote role with significant travel, based in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training at customer locations as well as EFI training facilities regarding the operation of EFI digital inkjet printing equipment and Raster Image Processor (RIP) Software. The information will be delivered to EFI customers and employees throughout North America and worldwide.
What Will You Do
Deliver standardized and custom certification programs to customers, partners and employees regarding the operation of complex digital print equipment and associated software applications.
Provide color management services and training in accordance with EFI and print industry standards in order to meet customers production needs
Provide customers with top level print industry knowledge including file preparation, color standards, color measurement and image analysis
Supply world-class solutions in the classroom, production environment and remotely to students from various backgrounds and experience levels.
Deliver remote training and certification programs to customers, partners and employees worldwide.
Work with developers and service personnel in order to maintain update and improve current training materials and personal product knowledge
Travel within the North America and occasionally outside of the region up to 75%.
You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
Graphic Arts / Design education or equivalent experience
Proficiency with all digital prepress applications, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as all Microsoft Office applications
In depth experience with digital color management.
Must demonstrate ability and experience to lead face-to-face technical training in a one on one and classroom environment.
3+ years experience in the digital printing industry
Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and technical writing
Strong interpersonal skills
G7 Certification preferred
Fiery XF RIP Experience
VUTEk printer experience
The total compensation for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
$70,000-$90,000
The successful candidate's total compensation will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
