Requirements:

  • Perform customer basic and advanced trainings and lead the Ramp Up process (13-week onsite training) to teach press operators best practices, operations, and maintenance.
  • Provide daily feedback on customer status and train new employees on printer operations, daily maintenance, setup, and calibrations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to the component level and collaborate with Field Service Managers to identify and close chronic equipment problems, escalating to Service Engineering as needed.
  • Work with Regional Service Managers to identify opportunities to reduce warranty and service contract costs, maximize printer functionality, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a Print Applications Specialist, specifically focused on our Nozomi single-pass digital printing product line in the US. This is a remote role with travel up to 100% domestically and occasionally internationally.

What You Will Do

  • Perform customer Basic and Advanced trainings
  • Perform the Ramp Up process, a 13-week course onsite at a customer's facility, working directly with the press operators on best practices and operational training, and maintenance training.
  • Provide daily feedback of customer status
  • Train new employees on the printer operations, daily maintenance, set-up and calibrations.
  • Mechanical and electrical break-fix knowledge
  • Working with Field Service Managers, identify chronic equipment and customer problems and bring closure and resolution.
  • Working with Regional Service Managers, identify opportunities to reduce warranty and service contract costs.
  • Work with Service Engineering as the escalation focal point for ongoing reliability and repair issues.
  • Provide detailed technical feedback to drive corrective action
  • Maximize functionality and possibilities of the printer in front of the customer,

  • Knowledge of coating applications
  • Knowledge of best printing applications on all substrates, including cardboard, styrene, corruplast, and various synthetic materials.
  • Digital printing industry work experience;
  • Experience with digital print environments, equipment and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to the component level.
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to effectively communicate between customers, service team and any other departments involved
  • Superior communication and listening skills, to quickly identify and resolve customer concerns
  • Very well structured and organized
  • Ability to prioritize and to cope with multiple tasks
  • Ability to interface with people/sales is important;
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to customer satisfaction;
  • Experience in delivering training is an asset;
  • Outstanding customer and internal communication skills;
  • Team-player;
  • Fluent in English, Spanish-speaking is nice to have
  • Experience in the elaboration of accurate reports.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment, and work well under pressure
  • Ability to TRAVEL 75-100% including training at our Spain facility

The total compensation for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.

$70,000-$90,000

The successful candidate's total compensation will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Compensation is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. The compensation range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
