Job description

Overview
Client is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using Python, React, and Node.js. This role is cloud-forward on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with an emphasis on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL, plus strong DevOps execution using GitLab CI/CD and Terraform.

Core Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, React, and Node.js
Implement and manage GCP solutions with a focus on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
Participate in code reviews and provide actionable feedback
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform (IaC)
Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues
Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them when beneficial

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer (or similar)
Strong Python development experience
Strong front-end experience with React and development experience with Node.js
Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
Experience with GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience

Experience with Generative AI
