Work Schedule: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (AEST) | 6:30 AM-3:30 PM (PH Time)

Client is a 100% Australian-owned manufacturer of home and building products, supplying both Wholesale and Commercial markets across Australia. The company is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence within the manufacturing sector.
Currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the Finance team at its Dry Creek, Adelaide facility. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. The position offers exposure to a range of finance activities within a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the kind of person who:
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals.
  • Assist with month-end financial reporting and supporting schedules.
  • Process and reconcile inter company transactions and recharges.
  • Assist in preparing weekly sales, gross margin, and net profit reports.
  • Support the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.
  • Respond to finance-related queries and assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.


Requirements

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
  • 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or higher).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Australian work rights required.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
