  • Oversee order scheduling and routing: manage active pickups/deliveries, recurring subscriptions, failed payments, pickup time changes, and ensure routes align with driver capacity
  • Monitor payments and financials: track credit card/ACH usage, handle refunds and disputes, and coordinate with payment providers for escalations
  • Deliver exceptional customer support: act as escalation point for complex issues, maintain accurate customer profiles and service preferences, and drive service reliability and clear communications

Job Role: Ecommerce Operations Technician

Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $1,800 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is an online laundry delivery platform that connects customers with local laundry and dry-cleaning providers. Through a searchable hub, users can browse services, access contact details, and arrange pickup or drop-off, making garment care simple and convenient in select urban areas.

Role Overview: We are seeking an Ecommerce Operations technician to oversee the daily operations of our laundry pickup and delivery business powered by the Delivery Biz Pro (DBP) platform. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth order scheduling, route coordination, subscription management, payment accuracy, and excellent customer experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, operationally disciplined, comfortable working inside SaaS admin systems, and capable of managing recurring service logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform and Store Management

  1. Manage day to day operations inside the DBP admin portal,
  2. Configure laundry services, pricing by bag weight or item type, subscriptions, and service add ons,
  3. Maintain service categories such as wash and fold, dry cleaning, specialty garments, and recurring plans,
  4. Manage delivery zones and route assignments to ensure correct pickup and drop off coverage
  5. Maintain cutoff times, scheduling windows, and service capacity limits Ensure pricing, taxes, fees, and service rules are correctly configured

Order and Scheduling Operations

  1. Oversee all active pickups and deliveries for the week
  2. Monitor recurring subscription customers and future scheduled pickups
  3. Review and resolve failed payments prior to route finalization
  4. Coordinate changes to pick up times, skipped services, and special instructions
  5. Ensure routes are accurate and aligned with driver capacity
  6. Confirm orders are locked and ready before dispatch

Payments and Financial Oversight

  1. Monitor credit card and ACH usage
  2. Manage refunds, disputes, and failed payment recovery
  3. Work with payment providers when escalations are required

Customer Experience

  1. Serve as escalation point for complex customer issues, providing assistance through phone calls and emails
  2. Manage customer profiles, service preferences, and recurring plans
  3. Ensure accurate pickup instructions and garment handling notes
  4. Identify operational friction points and recommend improvements
  5. Maintain high service reliability and communication standards

Reporting and Performance Tracking

  1. Produce weekly reports covering order volume, revenue, average order value, subscription retention, and failed payment rate
  2. Track route efficiency and delivery completion rates
  3. Monitor customer retention and repeat frequency
  4. Identify opportunities to optimize pricing, route density, and subscription adoption

Cross Functional Coordination

  1. Coordinate with drivers and laundry facility teams to ensure operational alignment
  2. Work with marketing on promotions, referral programs, and subscription growth
  3. Collaborate with technical support for platform updates and issue resolution
  4. Test new features in staging before live deployment

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in ecommerce operations, logistics, or subscription based services
  • Experience managing delivery or field service operations preferred
  • Strong comfort working inside admin dashboards and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of billing and highly detail oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage time sensitive operational cycles

  • High on time pickup and delivery percentage

  • Minimal order errors
