ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY  

NP Digital is seeking an experienced Manager, Marketing Strategy to help our in house marketing team in achieving our goals as an organization. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience building and leading media strategies at a digital marketing agency. You love building integrated media strategies for clients to achieve their business goals, and you know that no “one size fits all” approach will ever get optimal results for your clients. You’ve built hundreds of media plans, and equally important, you have the storytelling ability to bring those plans to life. You earn the trust of CMOs and CEOs by showing them thoughtful insights, compelling strategies, and clever uses of multiple paid channels to drive meaningful impact to their business.    

As the Manager, Marketing Strategy you will be responsible for developing innovative media strategies, digital media plans, budget proposals and media flowcharts for NP Digital’s global brand. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure we are developing innovative, full-funnel media strategies that help our clients reach their target audience and achieve their objectives. The Manager, Marketing Strategy will oversee the effective spending and follow-through of global media budgets across, but not limited to, the following tactics: paid search, paid social, programmatic, email, organic, webinars, events, and ABM. 

To be considered, candidates must reside and be eligible to work in Brazil and must be fluent in English.  

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES  

Manager, Marketing Strategy will be responsible for overseeing full funnel marketing strategy with a focus on growing revenue for NP Digital. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Develop the digital media strategy for select npdigital.com and neilpatel.com domestic across multiple digital media tactics supporting the consumer journey  
  • Provide guidance for DSP, DMP, paid social and paid search strategy  
  • Collaborates with NP Digital’s Social Media, Brand Marketing, Direct Marketing, Brand Sponsorship, and Partner Marketing teams on planned consumer strategy activations  
  • Conduct market research & strategic briefs to guide the Marketing Department 
  • Create integrated media plans that forecast actual business results for NP Digital 
  • Architect data & measurement strategies to show a clear ROI from our efforts  
  • Manage media budgets, media authorizations, and media flowcharts highlighting all tactics  
  • As needed, plan, manage, and execute integrated Digital Media campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management  

 ABOUT YOU 

  • 6-7 years of experience in digital marketing strategy with foundational tactical knowledge of paid search, paid social, programmatic, and direct media buying as well as understanding of the full marketing funnel of organic, referral, email, and event based tactics 
  • A history of developing business-driving integrated marketing programs for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 and spanning consumer and B2B target audiences  
  • Account-based marketing (ABM) strategic planning experience a plus  
  • Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities using data & analytics, market research, and strategic frameworks  
  • Experience managing complex, multi-platform digital marketing strategies across clients   
  • Successful track record of helping to build and present strategic digital approaches, recommendations, and tactics for clients   
  • Knowledge of creative best practices, identifying conversion rate optimization opportunities, and pulling and interpreting syndicated research preferred  
  • Ability to translate digital & industry trends into succinct, compelling, conversational language for a variety of C-Suite and marketing audiences  
  • Ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment and a passion for contributing to the department processes and structure Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on marketing topics

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION 

  • Base Salary: USD $40,000.00 to $50,000.00; depending on experience and skills
  • Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
