Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Assessor/Interviewer specializing in Mobile Applications with a focus on React Native to join our team. This advanced role involves evaluating technical candidates for various senior-level React Native development positions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in React Native development methodologies, tools, and practices, along with a strong ability to mentor and guide the technical assessment process.


Responsibilities:


Design and conduct comprehensive technical interviews and assessments for senior-level React Native development positions, ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Develop and continuously update advanced assessment criteria and interview questions to reflect the latest React Native development trends, tools, and best practices.

Collaborate closely with the HR and development teams to understand complex role requirements, desired skills, and team dynamics, tailoring assessments accordingly.

Provide detailed, actionable feedback and recommendations to the hiring team, playing a key role in informing hiring decisions.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in React Native technologies, tools, and practices, ensuring that assessments remain current and relevant.

Facilitate in-depth technical workshops or discussions to evaluate candidates’ hands-on skills in a collaborative environment.

Mentor and train junior technical assessors/interviewers, providing guidance on best practices and interview techniques.

Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the technical assessment process.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in mobile development roles, with at least 5 years specializing in React Native development.

Deep understanding of React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and mobile app development lifecycle.

Experience with integrating React Native applications with backend services and APIs.

Familiarity with mobile UI/UX design principles and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines as well as Google’s Material Design.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor others.

Extensive experience designing advanced technical assessments and conducting technical interviews.

Up-to-date knowledge of the latest React Native development trends and best practices.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


Advanced certifications in React Native or related mobile development technologies.

Significant experience in a technical hiring or technical assessment role.

Leadership or managerial experience in a mobile development team, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding team members.

Experience contributing to open-source React Native projects or communities.

Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, and Appium.

Knowledge of native mobile development (iOS/Android) to understand and bridge gaps between React Native and native code.
