E-commerce Content & Social Media Manager for a Private Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience managing Shopify product content (images, listings) and on-page SEO
  • Strong copywriting for product titles and descriptions, and SEO optimization
  • Proven social media management experience across Instagram, Threads, and Pinterest, including content planning and community management
  • Experience planning and managing paid social campaigns (Meta and Pinterest) with testing and budget pacing

Requirements:

  • Create and optimize Shopify-ready product content: edit supplier photos to brand guidelines, generate image sets, write SEO-friendly titles and descriptions, manage tags, collections, and basic on-page SEO
  • Plan and execute weekly social content across Instagram, Threads, and Pinterest; produce hands-only demos, styling setups, carousels; manage engagement and maintain brand voice
  • Set up, run, and optimize paid social campaigns (Meta and Pinterest) with structured testing for creatives and audiences, including retargeting and budget pacing
  • Track and report key metrics across Shopify, Social, and Ads; deliver weekly snapshots and monthly performance reviews with insights

Job description

Shopify Product Content (Images + Listings)
• Edit raw supplier/product photos to match Kumohana’s brand guidelines (clean, minimal, warm-neutral, true-to-product)
• Create Shopify-ready image sets per product:
• Clean background “product-only” images
• In-use lifestyle images (when available)
• Cropped versions for Pinterest and Instagram formats
• Write and optimize:
• SEO-friendly product titles
• Benefit-driven product descriptions (features, specs, care, use-cases)
• Tags, collections, and basic on-page SEO fields
• Maintain consistency across all product pages and collections
Social Media Management (Instagram, Threads, Pinterest)
• Create a weekly content plan and publish consistently (posts, reels, stories, pins)
• Turn Shopify product information into social content:
• Hands-only product demos
• Japandi-style styling setups
• Carousel posts highlighting features and benefits
• Create Pinterest pins linking to product pages, blog posts, and collections
• Manage community engagement:
• Respond to comments and DMs
• Engage with relevant accounts and communities
• Maintain consistent brand voice and aesthetic across platforms
Paid Social Ads (Traffic + Conversion)
• Set up and manage paid ads (Meta and Pinterest as priority platforms when applicable)
• Run structured testing and iteration:
• Creative testing
• Audience testing
• Retargeting (site visitors and engaged users)
• Manage budget pacing and maintain campaign hygiene (UTMs, naming conventions, tracking checks)
Analytics & Reporting (Must-Have)
• Track and report data across:
• Shopify: traffic, conversion rate, AOV, revenue by channel, best-performing products
• Social: follower growth, engagement rate, top-performing posts and pins
• Ads: spend, ROAS (if sufficient volume), CPA, CTR, conversion rate, audience insights
Reporting Cadence
• Weekly: 1-page performance snapshot + next week’s priorities
• Monthly: deeper performance review (what worked, what didn’t, what to test next)
