Job description

This is a remote position.

Superlanet is seeking a Senior Data Engineer or Architect to support our well known healthcare client in Northern California. This role is critical to the end-of-January handoff from Health Catalyst, particularly for funds flow and financial data pipelines. This is an 8 month contract with high possibility of extension.

Immediate execution and Snowflake–Databricks bridging are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain financial and funds-flow pipelines in Databricks
Bridge Snowflake and Databricks to support finance reporting and reconciliation
Partner with finance stakeholders to validate logic and outputs
Ensure auditability, accuracy, and reliability of financial data
Contribute to platform standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

5+ years of data engineering or data architecture experience
Proficiency with Databricks, Spark, and cloud-based data engineering platforms
Strong SQL and data modeling experience
Hands-on, production experience building and supporting Databricks pipelines (PySpark / Spark)
Demonstrated ability to support data integration and reporting in enterprise environments
Experience bridging Snowflake and Databricks environments
Healthcare industry experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with business and technical stakeholders
