Pre-Sales Consultant - Cybersecurity

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 1–4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or pre-sales engineering
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, security architecture and application security, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work independently/remote; fluent in English; relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, CISSP)

Requirements:

  • Engage with customers to understand business requirements, security challenges, and technical environments; design and propose end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer needs
  • Lead PoC engagements and deliver technical discovery sessions, demos, webinars, and solution presentations; prepare technical responses for RFIs/RFPs and proposals
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities; act as a trusted technical advisor and ensure clear communication among sales, support teams, and clients
  • Work with Technical Support on solution implementation and troubleshooting; research new cybersecurity technologies and industry trends; assist in design, testing, and validation of new security solutions and architectures

Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for dynamic, highly motivated cybersecurity professionals to join our Pre‑Sales Consulting team. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams to design, demonstrate, and propose enterprise‑grade cybersecurity solutions for our customers.

You will be part of LOGON, one of Asia’s leading software distributors since 1993, specializing in CTEM, ITAM, ITSM, IAM, DevSecOps, Cloud Security and more.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Pre‑Sales & Solution Consulting
  • Engage with customers to understand business requirements, security challenges, and technical environments
  • Design and propose end‑to‑end cybersecurity solutions and best practices aligned with customer needs
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, demos, webinars, and solution presentations
  • Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements and evaluate solution effectiveness
  • Prepare technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and proposals

Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Ensure clear communication between sales, technical support teams, and clients

Technical & Research Support
  • Collaborate with the Technical Support team on solution implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Research and evaluate new cybersecurity technologies and industry trends
  • Design, test, and validate new security solutions and architectures

Security Assessment & Services (Advantageous)
  • Assist in delivering security services such as vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security governance reviews, threat hunting, and SOC‑related activities
  • Support consulting and training services for customers and partners

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 1–4+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or pre‑sales engineering
  • Strong understanding of:
  • - Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN, Cloud technologies)
  • - Security architecture and application security
  • - Network attacks, detection methods, and defense mechanisms
  • - Cybersecurity best practices and industry standards
  • Solid knowledge of the cybersecurity solutions landscape and market trends
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a passion for learning
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • High personal integrity and strong professional ethics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISA, NSE4+, or other relevant security certifications
  • Experience in enterprise customer environments
  • Prior exposure to pre‑sales, consulting, or customer‑facing technical roles
  • Fluent in English
