Since 2011, CA has directly fostered the development and interconnection of over 25 GW of clean and renewable energy technology based power generation. Our client base includes leading utilities, Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) and power project developers globally, Federal Government and other government agencies, including State Government.


We are looking for a Power System Engineer with expertise in power system analysis and modeling. The role involves creating accurate engineering reports to detail study results and demands excellent written and presentation capabilities. Proficiency in transmission, distribution planning, renewable grid integration, power system economics, and reliability assessment is essential.


Role: Power System Engineer


Experience : 2 to 8 Years

Role & Responsibilities of Power System Engineer 


Technical Skills and Expertise:

  • Perform data analysis related to bulk transmission, distributed generation, and power quality studies.

  • Write engineering reports documenting study results with objective and concise writing and presentation skills.

  • Experience in transmission and distribution planning, renewable grid integration studies, power system economics, and reliability assessment.

  • Support engineering studies on solar, wind, storage plants, and utility power systems.

  • Knowledge of power system simulation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, Simulink for Power Systems, TARA, etc. Expertise in at least one software package is a MUST.

  • Programming skills in Python or another major programming language and/or other data analysis tools such as Excel Macro, R, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MS, M. Tech., or Ph.D. in Electric Power Systems is preferred from a premium engineering university or college such as the IITs or NITs in India.

  • Minimum 1 to 1.5 years of successful support in U.S. energy market analysis or experience in the U.S. power sector.

  • Project management experience with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

  • Programming skills in Python or another major programming language and/or other data analysis tools such as Excel, R, etc.

  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel for business as needed within North America and internationally. A person based in India may have limited to no need to travel to the United States.

  • Valid driver’s license and passport.




Salary: 15 to 25 L
