Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of software QA automation experience.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
Experience with UI automation using Playwright or similar tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and proficiency in at least one programming language for automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript).

Requirements:

Design, implement, and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright or equivalent tools.
Develop and execute QA test plans, create and track defects, and ensure test coverage across features.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage code with Git; collaborate with distributed teams.
Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and drive quality improvements with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in software QA automation (3+ years).
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
Demonstrated experience with UI automation using Playwright or similar tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
Proficiency in at least one common programming language for automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript — JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across distributed teams.
Proactive and independent, with the ability to manage your own workload.

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with Playwright (if not already your main tool).
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Prior experience in a startup environment.
Relevant certifications in software testing/QA (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
