Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5-10 years experience driving Data Governance projects as Functional SME
  • Experience creating and delivering data governance artifacts (data strategy documents, governance organization charts, policies, operating procedures, and RACI matrices)
  • Proficiency in defining KPI/reporting standards, metadata management, and data architecture diagrams and mappings
  • Ability to work remotely with clients and cross-functional teams to enable data integration and searchable analytic assets

Requirements:

  • Help advance the client's BI platform maturity and support COE in managing new developments and ongoing maintenance
  • Build and implement a governance platform to make analytic assets searchable and facilitate data integration with Marketplace data
  • Create or modify governance artifacts including data strategy documents, governance organization charts, roles and responsibilities, policies, and RACI matrices
  • Define KPI/reporting governance, including review/approval processes, standards, metadata repositories, and data security practices

Job description

This is a remote position.

The Cross Functional SME Data Governance will help the client's BI platform advance in the maturity curve and assist COE team on their goal of effectively managing new developments and maintenance going forward. The client and Comerit will work together to build a governance platform to make Analytic assets searchable and establish a process to facilitate data integration with data available in Marketplace.

The person in this role will create or modifiy the following documents/artifacts:
-As-is data strategy documents
-Current Data governance organization, roles and responsibilities
-Current Data governance operations, policies, approval processes
-Data architecture diagrams and data mappings
-KPI/Report domain inventories
-Governance organization charts, operating structure, roles, and responsibilities, RACI matrix
-Process design artifacts and procedure guides
-KPI/Report review and approval process
-KPI/Report management policies and standards
-Process for defining and maintaining standard KPI/reporting structures and classifications
-KPI/Report related metadata repository with required structural, descriptive and administrative attributes
-KPI/Report related  metadata record identifying the report/KPI consumer(s)
-Current security practices to protect sensitive information"
