Role: Platform Manager - Financial Background
Mode of Work: Remote
Duration: 1 Year Contract(With Possible extension)
Typical roles and responsibilities
• System Ownership: As a platform manager, oversee core finance data platforms and accounting systems, ensuring ongoing reliability, scalability, and performance. Design, test and deliver enhancements to existing products and net new product offerings on finance accounting and data platforms
• Data Governance: Define and enforce data quality standards, data lineage, security controls, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
• Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as main interface between finance, accounting, engineering, analytics, and business partners—gathering requirements, prioritizing initiatives, and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Integration Management: Lead integration of finance platforms with upstream/downstream systems (payments, data warehouse, Oracle FAH, external data sources, business intelligence tools).
• Product and Project Management: Plan, scope, and execute platform enhancements, migrations, and rollouts. Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure delivery on time and budget. Work in a highly paced continuous delivery agile model. Attend daily standups, participate actively in sprint/ iteration planning with Engg.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Coordinate and support month end controls playbook, periodic reviews, audit readiness, documentation, and remediation of data/process gaps.
• Incident Response and Support: Support data engineering with issue triage, resolution, and communication for production incidents impacting finance data flows or accounting close.
