Analyze financial and platform data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and auditability.
Investigate anomalies in production data, identify root causes, and recommend fixes.
Evaluate platform data flows for potential risks or compliance gaps.
Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to business and finance stakeholders.
Reporting & Visualization
Build and automate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Finance and leadership.
Develop dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
Drill into platform data to uncover trends, anomalies, and performance insights.
Document test procedures, outcomes, and system impacts for transparency.
Platform & Risk Operations
Trace platform issues from a financial and accounting standpoint.
Quantify financial impact of identified issues and ensure traceability.
Collaborate with engineering to resolve data discrepancies and improve platform stability.
Contribute to audit readiness, internal controls, and compliance testing.
Support continuous improvement of reporting, governance, and visualization standards.
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
5–8 years of relevant experience in analytics, reporting, platform management, or BI tool integration.
Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in relational databases.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts (U.S. GAAP preferred).
Experience with product, platform, payment, or accounting transactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; Python scripting is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Knowledge in Tax Domain is a plus
Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
Excellent communication skills to distill complex data into clear insights.
Basic understanding of data engineering principles, pipelines, or frameworks.
Familiarity with compliance, risk, or audit processes (SOX/regulatory exposure a plus).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
