SAP Technical Specialist (SAP QM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP Technical Specialist with expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM) to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of SAP QM processes, including NonConformance and Inspection, along with proficiency in SAP ABAP development and Fiori/UI5 application development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Development: Execute SAP ABAP development for RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) to support SAP QM processes effectively.
   

2. UI Development: Develop and maintain Fiori and UI5 applications to enhance user experience and functionality.
   

3. Process Understanding: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Procurement Ordering, Supplier Control, and Master Data Supplier processes supported by SAP.
   

4. Application Monitoring: Monitor SAP applications and interfaces to identify proactively and prevent incidents. Utilize Solution Manager (SOLMAN) for effective application monitoring.
   

5. Customer Focus: Demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach within the Application Services department, catering to Procurement-related functions in Production, Final Assembly Line, and Logistics.
   

6. Business Criticality: Recognize the business criticality and prioritize tasks accordingly, understanding the impact of SAP QM on operations.
   

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within an international, distributed, and multi-functional team, adhering to agile methodologies and principles.
   

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP.
   

2. Proficiency in SAP ABAP development.
   

3. Prior experience in support or customer service roles.
   

4. Strong understanding of supply chain processes in an industrial context.
   

5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
   

6. Customer-facing skills with experience working with European customers.
   

7. AGILE certification and/or SAFe certification is a plus.
   

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  
• Identify and propose service improvements to enhance SAP QM processes.
  
• Provide expertise and support across the entire support chain.
  
• Effectively communicate on specific technical topics within the team.
  
• Train and mentor support team members to enhance their SAP QM knowledge and skills.
