Data Migration Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding business requirements from onsite clients and translating them into technical designs. You will play a crucial role in developing BODS (SAP BusinessObjects Data Services) jobs for end-to-end data migration scenarios and ensuring the successful loading of data into the target environment, particularly SAP S4 Hana. Your technical expertise will be essential in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather and comprehend business requirements from onsite clients and convert them into comprehensive technical designs for data migration projects.
   

2. Develop BODS jobs that implement efficient end-to-end data migration scenarios.
   

3. Conduct thorough testing and review of BODS jobs, ensuring compliance with best practices and exploring automation opportunities wherever applicable.
   

4. Manage the data loading process to the target environment, with a particular focus on SAP S4 Hana.
   

5. Demonstrate proficiency in working with databases such as Oracle and SQL Server to facilitate data migration activities.
   

Technical Experience:

1. Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, ensuring seamless data migration.
   

2. Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP BODS and HANA, enabling you to work on migration objects for SAP S4 Hana.
   

3. Demonstrate expertise in data migration, data conversion, data cleansing, and data standardization processes.
