Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Assessor/Interviewer specializing in Spring and Java Development to join our team. This advanced role involves evaluating technical candidates for various senior-level Spring and Java development positions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in Spring and Java development methodologies, tools, and practices, along with a strong ability to mentor and guide the technical assessment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct comprehensive technical interviews and assessments for senior-level Spring and Java development positions, ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Develop and continuously update advanced assessment criteria and interview questions to reflect the latest Spring and Java development trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Mentor and train junior technical assessors/interviewers, providing guidance on best practices and interview techniques.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the technical assessment process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development roles, with at least 5 years specializing in Spring and Java development.
  • Deep understanding of Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security), and JPA/Hibernate.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor others.
  • Extensive experience designing advanced technical assessments and conducting technical interviews.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Spring and Java development trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in Java, Spring, or related technologies.
  • Significant experience in a technical hiring or technical assessment role.
  • Leadership or managerial experience in a software development team, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding team members.
  • Experience contributing to open-source Spring or Java projects or communities.
  • Familiarity with testing technologies such as JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Java applications.
