**Job Description: Senior Technical Web Developer**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Senior Technical Web Developer with over 6+ years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in web development, data operations, server-side programming, and possess a comprehensive skill set in various programming languages. As a Senior Technical Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in extracting, integrating, and managing data from diverse operational sources across multiple platforms. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize extensive experience as a Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the HTML stack, including HTML5, JavaScript (JS), CSS, and XML/JSON, to create interactive and visually appealing web interfaces.
- Perform data operations using SQL and SAS programming, extracting and manipulating data from various sources.
- Employ server-side programming skills to enhance the functionality and performance of web applications.
- Utilize CASL programming languages such as Python, Lua, Java, and SAS to create efficient and effective solutions.
- Extract data from diverse operational data sources on multiple platforms and integrate the extracted data seamlessly.
- Develop mechanisms to enable the export and import of data, encompassing various file formats (tabular, etc.), while ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and validate their feasibility against technical capabilities.
- Provide technical options and recommendations that align with functional specifications, focusing on end-user experience and maintainability.
- Deliver comprehensive technical specifications and documentation to guide the development process.
- Demonstrate proficiency in version control systems, particularly GIT, to manage codebase efficiently.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing to identify and resolve any technical issues prior to handover to the client team.
- Offer hypercare support to address and rectify any issues within the delivered scope after implementation.
- Continuously assess the feasibility of business requirements and proactively propose improvements to enhance the application's performance and user experience.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Web Developer with a strong focus on technical excellence.
- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript (JS), CSS, XML/JSON for developing engaging web interfaces.
- Strong command of SQL and SAS programming for efficient data operations and manipulation.
- Experience with server-side programming languages.
- Skilled in CASL programming languages such as Python, Lua, Java, and SAS.
- Familiarity with data integration from diverse operational sources across multiple platforms.
- Ability to propose technical solutions aligned with functional requirements while considering end-user experience and maintainability.
- Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and comprehensive technical specifications.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably GIT.
- Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Continuous learner, keeping up with industry trends and emerging technologies.
**Nice to Have:**
- Familiarity with SAS knowledge, statements, and procedures.
- Previous experience in hypercare support for delivered applications.
