Apigee admin

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced APIGEE Administrator with a strong background in APIGEE management and a solid understanding of Mulesoft. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 6 years specifically focused on APIGEE administration.

Responsibilities:

1. APIGEE Administration: Oversee the end-to-end management and administration of the APIGEE platform, including API proxy configuration, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the APIGEE infrastructure.
   

2. Mulesoft Integration: Manage Mulesoft integration, including API connectivity, data transformations, and troubleshooting of integration issues. Collaborate with the development team to create efficient integration solutions.
   

3. Ansible: Utilize Ansible to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the deployment and configuration processes of APIGEE and other related components.
   

4. Certificate Management: Responsible for the management and renewal of SSL certificates and other security-related components for the APIGEE platform.
   

5. Web Server Administration: Manage various web servers, including WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, Weblogic, Apache, IHS, OHS, and IIS. Ensure proper configuration and performance optimization of these servers.
   

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in APIGEE administration.
   

2. Proficiency in managing APIGEE, including configuring proxies, API products, developer portals, and analytics.
   

3. Strong knowledge of Mulesoft for integration purposes, with the ability to design and implement effective integration solutions.
   

4. Experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration of tasks related to APIGEE and other infrastructure components.
   

5. Familiarity with certificate management and SSL/TLS protocols.
   

6. Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, Liberty, Weblogic, Apache, IHS, OHS, and IIS.
   

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to API management and integration.
   

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
   

9. Relevant certifications in APIGEE or related technologies are a plus.
