Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking skilled Oracle Forms and Reports Developers with a minimum of 5 years of total work experience, including 5 years of relevant project work experience. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Reports 12c version. They should possess strong expertise in handling forms and reports coding, including all levels of triggers and validations, and be proficient in object libraries. The candidates will be responsible for maintaining an application stack based on Oracle Forms and Reports, as well as making necessary additions or modifications to Oracle forms and reports based on business requirements. Additionally, the candidates should have a good knowledge of Oracle reports, including matrix reports, and a strong working knowledge of PL/SQL, encompassing packages, functions, triggers, and other database object development.

Requirements

  1. Oracle Forms and Reports Development:

    • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports applications using Oracle Forms and Reports 12c version.
  2. Forms and Reports Coding:

    • Handle forms and reports coding, including all levels of triggers and validations, to ensure robust and reliable functionality.
  3. Object Libraries:

    • Utilize object libraries effectively to enhance reusability and maintainability of Oracle Forms and Reports applications.
  4. Application Stack Maintenance:

    • Maintain an application stack based on Oracle Forms and Reports, ensuring its smooth functioning and performance.
  5. Application Enhancements:

    • Add new features or modify existing ones in Oracle forms and reports based on business requirements and user feedback.
  6. Oracle Reports Development:

    • Develop Oracle reports, including matrix reports, to provide relevant and insightful data representation.
  7. PL/SQL Development:

    • Utilize PL/SQL to develop packages, functions, triggers, and other database objects, ensuring efficient data processing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of total work experience, including 5 years of relevant project work experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Reports 12c version, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
  • Extensive experience in forms and reports coding, including trigger and validation implementation.
  • Knowledge of object libraries to enhance application modularity and maintainability.
  • Ability to maintain and optimize an application stack based on Oracle Forms and Reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and implement business requirements into Oracle forms and reports.
  • Good understanding of Oracle reports, including matrix reports, for effective data representation.
  • Excellent working knowledge of PL/SQL, encompassing packages, functions, triggers, and other database object development.
