Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a proficient English Language Instructor to deliver engaging and comprehensive online instruction to students across Grades 1 to 8. The instructor will be responsible for creating lesson plans, conducting live classes, and mentoring students to enhance their English language skills. A strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, combined with the ability to teach effectively in a virtual environment, is essential. Candidates must have a passion for teaching and the ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs while fostering a supportive and interactive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive online English lessons to students in Grades 1 to 8.
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills with a focus on practical usage.
  • Customize lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning levels.
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to improve their language skills.
  • Utilize innovative teaching tools and software to create dynamic and effective lessons.
  • Provide constructive feedback and track student progress regularly.


Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years of proven teaching experience with young learners, preferably in online education.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in English grammar, speaking, and writing.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to create engaging and student-centered lesson plans.
    • Comfortable using online teaching platforms and tools like Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.
  • Technical Requirements: Reliable internet connection, a laptop/PC with a functional camera and microphone, and familiarity with virtual teaching software.
  • Other: A creative, patient, and enthusiastic attitude toward teaching young learners.
