JOB OVERVIEW


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced TREATMENT COORDINATOR to join our team in Florida. Experience as a SALES REPRESENTATIVE is required.


The Treatment Plan Coordinator’s main job responsibility is to clearly explain the PRM Protocol and related costs. The Treatment Plan Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient after they have been identified as a candidate for the PRM Protocol. Relaying information specific to the patient and their treatment. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, and they are prepared to explain, negotiate and offer financial arrangements with the patient. The Treatment Plan Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to move forward with the treatment they need.


The Treatment Plan Coordinator may also be responsible for some insurance verification duties that will assist in supporting the patient’s inquiries about their treatment and the cost. They must be able to communicate well. In fact, the Treatment Plan Coordinator must be the best communicator in the practice. The number one responsibility of all employees is patient care and meeting patient needs. This guide outlines responsibilities that must be accomplished daily, weekly, and monthly. Additional responsibilities may be required, as needed.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be present via TEAMS during discussions with patients after they have seen the provider to help patient understand PRM Protocol and their financial responsibility based on their insurance.
  • When necessary, be present via TEAMS to go over cost with patients again for a second round of treatment.
  • Ensure patients understand the PRM Protocol and the financial cost to them.
  • Help patient understand why treatment is needed and offer options to help them afford it.
  • Present case fees and financial options to patients to facilitate the decision to say “yes.”
  • Present or co-present the treatment plan and consent.
  • Educate patients, as necessary, regarding their insurance benefits.
  • Determine medical benefit eligibility, limitations, and payment estimates necessary to facilitate financial arrangements.
  • Ensure patients are fully informed on their financial obligations.
  • Ask satisfied patients for a referral/online testimonial.
  • Proactively communicate with the Team so they know whether patient has decided to move forward with treatment and the financial decision made.
  • Track patients who have been spoken to and the outcome of that discussion for administration.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Sales Experience (medical preferred)
  • Keen understanding of scheduling and financial systems
  • In-depth knowledge of PRM Protocol in simple language

Salary Description
$55,000 - $60,000
