Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Liferay Developer. The Liferay Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing web-based applications using Liferay. The Liferay Developer will also manage user interfaces, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Expertise in Liferay Development, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, and SQL
Experience in Agile methodology, CSS, HTML, and web technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent analytical and communication skills to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with open source development and GitHub is a plus
