JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CONTENT DEVELOPER 

Startup Earth Center (SEC) is a tech-powered platform designed by Climate Collective to foster innovation and climate tech entrepreneurship. It is an open access, self-paced content platform for climate tech entrepreneurship courses based on modular learning tailored to the needs of the learner. SEC course content includes a user-friendly portal to support self-paced learning, equipped with interactive tools to enhance learning experiences. By democratizing educational access, SEC aims to fill the critical gap in climate tech entrepreneurship.  

Clean Energy & Energy Access Track on SEC:  

Clean energy is essential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating the effects of climate change. Renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, can provide a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels, reducing our reliance on finite resources and minimizing environmental impact.  

We are seeking a course content developer specializing in clean energy to join our team part-time. As a content developer, you will be pivotal in building the courses on the SEC platform. Your role will be involved in the design, preparation, development and recording of engaging educational content. We will be starting with the clean energy track and the first onboarding will be for the same.

  • Scripting and recording educational videos ensuring content clarity and engagement through well-prepared material and presentation. 

  •  Refining the course content based on feedback and evaluation by the users. 



Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Candidates with 8-10 years of experience in the educational field 

  • Have a specialization in clean energy/ sustainability/ climate tech 

  • Experience in innovation and entrepreneurship is preferred 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional ability in content creation, scripting and curation with a strong focus on developing engaging courses that resonate with a diverse audience.  

  • Proficient in presenting course content in a clear and engaging manner. 

  • Willing to explore new interactive online tools and a passion for high outcomes-based 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to articulate ideas clearly and interact effectively with the team. 

  • Highly motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of enthusiasm. 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks, coordinate educational projects, and manage timelines efficiently. 

  • Great analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
