6+ years of project management experience delivering technology solutions across Agile, Waterfall and other methodologies
Experience managing teams of developers and designers
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of work experience
Experience forecasting and managing project budgets
Requirements:
Engage with client stakeholders to understand business needs, define project deliverables, and identify key stakeholders across the organization
Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget; identify risks early and propose practical solutions, communicating with all stakeholders to keep projects on track
Review and understand high-level systems and architecture to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement throughout the software development lifecycle
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, designers) in client-facing engagements from pre-sales through delivery and maintenance
Job description
This is a remote position.
The project management role engages directly with client stakeholders and role players to gain a deep understanding of the business needs, project deliverables and key stakeholders for relevant areas in the organisation. A high-level understanding of systems and architecture driving the processes is important in order to identify gaps and suggest opportunities for improvement.
We are seeking someone who is a great communicator and natural problem solver to help us deliver projects on time and on budget. The ideal candidate has the experience to identify project risks early, as well as the skills to identify and propose solutions, and effectively communicate with everyone invested in the project’s success. Candidates should enjoy interacting with clients in settings ranging from pre-sales to delivery and maintenance.
Our ideal candidate has had experience in a variety of software development methodologies with an emphasis on Agile (kanban, scrum, or others). You have been or have the desire to be, in a client-facing role and have the communication skills required to do so. Requirements
Experience Required:
6+ years of project management experience, building technology solutions in a variety of different styles (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) through the software development lifecycle
Experience in managing teams of developers and designers
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years’ work experience
Experience forecasting and managing project budgets
General technology related experience in project delivery
