Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

Position Type: Contract
Anticipated Duration: 9 months (April 2025 - December 2025)
Location: Midwest (50% onsite, 50% remote)

The Technical Manager for TDR (Technical Dress Rehearsal) and EUD (End User Devices) is responsible for managing the technical infrastructure and readiness for the Epic implementation. This role involves overseeing the preparation and deployment of end-user devices and conducting technical dress rehearsals to ensure system readiness. The manager will coordinate closely with IT and operational teams to ensure devices are properly configured and ready for use during and post-implementation of Epic.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the planning and execution of the Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) for Epic implementation.

- Manage the deployment and configuration of End User Devices (EUD), ensuring compatibility with Epic systems.

- Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot any technical issues encountered during rehearsals and device deployment.

- Coordinate with clinical and operational teams to ensure all devices are tested and ready for use during go-live.

- Provide technical support and leadership during go-live to ensure system stability and readiness.

- Develop and execute contingency plans for potential technical issues.

- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on healthcare system implementations.

- Experience managing Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and End User Device (EUD) deployment in an Epic environment.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and device management for healthcare systems.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration between IT and clinical teams.

Expected Travel:

50% onsite travel in the Midwest.

Expected Schedule:

Full-time, with flexibility during technical rehearsals and go-live phases.




Salary: 140000
