Requirements:
Plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities to maintain and develop LMS sales per agreed business plans (including direct mail campaigns).
Maintain and develop a pipeline of customers and prospects (leads and deals); respond to sales enquiries by post, telephone, and in person.
Create and present client proposals and contracts, negotiate terms, and coordinate with internal order-processing staff; monitor activities and provide management information.
Manage external marketing agency activities (telemarketing and research) and liaise with other company functions to support business development.
Job description
This is a remote position.
To plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop sales of LMS, in accordance with agreed business plans.
Maintain and develop a customer prospect in forms of Lead and Deals
Plan and carry out direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, service mix and timescales.
Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for LMS to an agreed annual target
Develop ideas and create offers for direct mail and marketing to major accounts by main market sector and LMS services.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following LMS procedures
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes.
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
Manage the external marketing agency activities of telemarketing and research.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Contact directly with clients and sign the contracts representing the company.
Appraise the competency of personnel in conjunction with Managing Director and selection new.
