Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Classical Dance Teacher to conduct engaging online dance sessions for students across various age groups. The ideal candidate should have expertise in any Indian classical dance form (such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, or Odissi) and the ability to deliver structured and inspiring online classes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct online dance classes for beginners and intermediate-level students.

  • Teach classical dance techniques, postures, expressions (abhinaya), and choreography.

  • Prepare lesson plans and practice schedules tailored to students’ learning levels.

  • Demonstrate and explain dance movements clearly during virtual sessions.

  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback for improvement.

  • Ensure discipline, punctuality, and a positive learning atmosphere during classes.

  • Coordinate with the academic/admin team for scheduling and updates.



Requirements

  • 1–5 years of teaching experience in any Indian classical dance form.

  • Formal training or certification in a recognized classical dance style.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to conduct interactive classes using online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

  • Passionate about teaching and preserving traditional dance forms.

    • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in preparing students for performances or examinations.

    • Ability to choreograph short pieces for online showcases or cultural events.

    • Familiarity with music, rhythm, and stage presentation techniques.
