Job description

This is a remote position.

CloudSquad is a strategic technology consulting company focused on helping clients realize the full potential of their business by utilizing the Cloud and implementing AI. We review and analyze client systems and work with them to design and implement solutions that enable our clients to take advantage of the latest technology available.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with a focus on Startup and Small to Medium-sized Business (SMB) segments to join the CloudSquad team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our services to startups and small and medium sized businesses. You will leverage your deep understanding of client needs, Cloud industry knowledge, and exceptional communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve pipeline and revenue targets within the SMB segment.

  • Perform ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to optimize the sales strategy.

  • Identify and qualify potential SMB customers through proactive prospecting and networking.

  • Leverage existing networks and establish new relationships to build pipeline.

  • Set up and engage in marketing events with prospects and alliance partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers.

  • Understand client business objectives, challenges, and requirements to position our partner products and our services effectively.

  • Engage a wide range of prospects to understand their initiatives and display CloudSquad capabilities.

  • Establish and grow relationships with alliance partners.

  • Work closely with client decision makers, CloudSquad colleagues and alliance partners.

  • Collaborate with technical and solution teams to tailor offerings to meet the specific needs of SMB clients.

  • Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to address client pain points.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of our products and services.

  • Address client concerns, objections, and inquiries with professionalism and expertise.

  • Lead contract negotiations with SMB clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with business goals.

  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to leadership.

  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless Client experiences.

  • Share insights and feedback from the field to inform service improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the startup and SMB market.

  • Strong understanding of startup and SMB business dynamics, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM tools for effective pipeline management.

  • Familiarity with Cloud technology products and solutions.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
