  • Design and build backend systems at scale as a core contributor, focusing on distributed architecture
  • Lead backend architecture and own end-to-end delivery for a social media integrated influencer shopping analytics tool
  • Develop using Golang and collaborate across the stack (TypeScript, GraphQL) on GCP, Kubernetes
  • Manage complex integrations with external services to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable systems with high ownership

This is a remote position.

Lead Architect and Backend Engineer

This business is a VC backed Series A Ecommerce startup with a phenomenal tech team. They are creating an social media integrated influencer shopping tool which provides exceptional analytics on consumer shopping behaviour and allows brands to connect with new customers extremely fast and effectively.

They have 20 employees total and you will be a core backend hire. They are building with Golang, Typescript, GCP, Kubernetes, graphql.

Top priorities for this hire:

·         Capability and experience building massive distributed systems at scale. The key here is being a core contributor to a project like this.

·         Use of Golang on applications. Not just infra and dev tools.

·         7 years + fulltime experience as software engineer

·         Exceptional experience with a strong range of architectural patterns.

·         High agency and extreme ownership

·         Experience with complicated integrations

 

 




Salary: 160000 - 210000
