Job description

This is a remote position.

Role-Azure Data Factory Developer
Location-Remote

General Summary

This position requires expertise and experience in programming system integrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for file transfer and API pipelines.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

·        Develop ADF pipelines to extract, potentially transform, and load data between applications.

·        Work with internal and external stakeholders to design, build, test, document, and deploy data integrations between applications.

·        Prepare PowerShell commands to initiate data transfers.

·        Participate in all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) and iterative or Agile development methodology.

·        Work within application governance frameworks to plan, design, and implement future state changes to ADF and related systems.

·        Create and update documentation of ADF pipelines for system integrations.

·        Trouble-shoot and resolve end-user issues and application problems within ADF.

·        Champion and adhere to software engineering industry standards and best practices suitable to Chemonics.
