Roles & Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of Angular development experience, including proficiency with Angular 18, building and maintaining Angular applications, and strong knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS; familiarity with Angular CLI, Angular Material, and RxJS; understanding of reactive and ADA-compliant programming.
  • 5-7 years of ASP.NET Core experience, building RESTful APIs; proficiency in middleware, routing, and dependency injection; experience with authentication/authorization and troubleshooting in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database design (EF/Entity Framework Core, schemas, stored procedures) and experience developing web APIs using ASP.NET Core; knowledge of RESTful API principles and best practices.
  • Strong frontend-backend integration skills, unit testing (NUnit) and test-driven development; proficient in HTML, TypeScript, CSS; good communication and leadership abilities; active team player.

Requirements:

Texas Education Agency requires the services of 1 Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Education Agency.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Education Agency and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Education Agency will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Job Description/Functions

 

·        Implement and customize Microsoft .NET Core, .NET Framework applications & Angular front end development.

·        Design, develop, and implement solutions in the Microsoft technology stack (including C# Visual Studio, Sql Server Management Studio).

 

Strong communication and ownership are critical, including the ability to proactively engage with stakeholders to clarify issues, present solutions, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

 

Job Qualifications 

 

 Angular Development

·        Required Experience: 5+ years

·        Proficiency in Angular framework. With 1 year in project that is Angular 18

·        Experience in building and maintaining Angular applications.

·        Knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend development.

·        Familiarity with Angular CLI, Angular Material, and RxJS.

·        Understanding of reactive, responsive and ADA compliant programming concepts.

 

  ASP.NET Core API

·        Required Experience: 5-7 years

·        Proficiency in ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs.

·        Experience in developing and maintaining web APIs using ASP.NET Core.

·        Understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices.

·        Knowledge of middleware, routing, and dependency injection in ASP.NET Core.

·        Ability to handle authentication and authorization

·        Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a fast-paced production environment.

·        Good communications and Leadershio skills & Active Team player

·        Proactive in discussing and designing the application along with BA and co-developers
