UKG Test Lead

About the Role

Gundersen Health is transitioning from an on-premises solution to UKG Pro, with Deloitte overseeing the heavy lifting and configuration. We are seeking an experienced UKG Test Lead who can drive the testing efforts, create structured processes, and ensure a seamless go-live.

This role is critical in shaping test scenarios, coordinating testing phases, tracking bugs, and mitigating risks. Candidates must have strong expertise in Time Tracking and Scheduling within UKG and proven leadership in guiding testing initiatives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing efforts for UKG implementation (Time Tracking & Scheduling).

• Define and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.

• Coordinate testing cycles, track execution, and monitor defect management.

• Establish structured processes for test tracking (moving beyond Excel-based methods).

• Partner with Deloitte and Gundersen Health stakeholders to ensure smooth testing execution.

• Identify risks, escalate issues, and provide mitigation strategies.

• Drive alignment across project teams for timely delivery and readiness for Go-Live.

Must Have Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience leading UKG Testing in Time Tracking & Scheduling.

• Proven experience as a Test Lead in enterprise UKG implementations.

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test planning, execution, and reporting.

• Ability to establish and improve testing processes and tools.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
