Evaluate source systems (Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite) to determine optimal data migration strategies and create data mappings.
Coordinate with clients, establish testing procedures, provide technical support, and document the migration process.

Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking to hire a full-time employee or a contractor for Data Migration Consultant. You’ll be part of a global consolidation of multiple Salesforce and CRM instances.

Requirements

Should have at least 3 years of experience migrating data to Salesforce CRM
Should have experience working with large volume of data
Thorough knowledge of database systems
Thorough knowledge on ETL processes and Data Deduping concepts
Proficiency with SQL, XML and JSON
Cleanse data as necessary to remove the potential for issues with data migration
Managing the entire data migration process by identifying potential issues and resolving them
Develop best practice standards and protocols for data migration.
Evaluating different source systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, Netsuite to determine how to best move data from one system to another system
Coordinating with the client to determine their data needs, including the types of data that need to be migrated and prepare data mappings
Establishing testing procedures to ensure that the migrated data is accurate and consistent with client specifications
Providing technical support for the data migration process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
Creating documentation of the migration process to serve as a guide for future migration projects
