Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

Greenfield opportunity building real-time data infrastructure. You'll own the full data lifecycle, from CDC ingestion through staging to production analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Build CDC pipelines and real-time streaming (Kafka/Flink)
• Design and maintain data models (raw to staging to core)
• Implement observability, data transformations and quality checks
• Own schema design for multi-tenant analytics
• Tune query performance (Trino) and optimize storage (Iceberg compaction, indexing)
• Support BI and analytics workloads
• Contribute to infrastructure, CI/CD
• Assist with infrastructure monitoring and observabilit

Required:

• 5+ years data engineering
• CDC and streaming (Kafka/Flink/Debezium)
• Python
  Strong SQL and data modeling
• dbt / SQLMesh
• Apache Iceberg

Nice to have:

• Trino / Presto / Pinot / Doris experience
• Gaming/payments domain
• AWS/GCP infrastructure basics
