About the Role
We are scaling a production-ready data analytics platform in the gaming/gambling industry. The core platform is already 70% complete, stable in production for a live client, and built on a solid AWS-based foundation.
Your mission will be to extend and harden the platform to onboard a second client by the end of February, and help prepare it for multi-client scale.
This is not a rescue mission — you will be expanding a working, documented, and automated system.
What You’ll Do • Deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud-based data infrastructure on AWS • Own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring • Ensure platform stability, observability, and scalability • Support the transition from single-client to multi-client architecture • Work closely with the founder and data engineers to move fast and safely
Must-Have Skills • Strong production experience on AWS • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / OpenTofu / CloudFormation) • Docker & Kubernetes • Monitoring & observability (Prometheus, Grafana) • Linux (strong hands-on experience)
Nice to Have • Event streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis) • Experience with data platforms or analytics systems • Gaming/gambling industry exposure
Engagement Model • Contract or payroll employment • Initial engagement: minimum 1 month • High chance of extension into a longer-term role
