Remote Architectural Drafter & 3D Modeler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote Architectural Drafter & 3D Modeler to support architectural and design projects through high-quality drafting, modeling, and visualization work. This role is responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, developing 3D models and renderings, and ensuring design compliance with applicable zoning codes and industry standards. The ideal professional demonstrates strong technical proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Photoshop, communicates effectively with cross-functional teams, and is capable of working independently while meeting deadlines. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and availability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop architectural drafting documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Create accurate 3D models and visual representations using Revit and Lumion.
• Produce detailed technical drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Apply knowledge of zoning codes to ensure design compliance (US-based).
• Edit and enhance architectural visuals and presentations using Photoshop.
• Maintain clear communication, reliability, and quality standards while managing drafting and modeling tasks independently.
• Perform other ongoing administrative tasks as needed to support operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong and clear communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, providers, and potential clients.
• Proficient in drafting using AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
• 3–5 years experience in drafting and 3D modeling.
• Demonstrated experience using Revit, Lumion, and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of zoning codes (better if US-based).
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability, with a strong work ethic and commitment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and drafting standards.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Submission of a professional portfolio is required.
• Completion of a brief skills assessment project is required to further evaluate capabilities.
• Availability to work during the Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone is required.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision.
• Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
