Requirements:
Perform process design and equipment selection for RO desalination projects.
Prepare detailed process design calculations (hydraulic, mechanical, chemical) and develop layouts, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Process Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs).
Develop the control philosophy for operation of RO desalination projects and prepare the project deliverables package (BOM) for procurement.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, automation and architecture disciplines to ensure coordinated designs and support tendering with technical and financial proposals.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Process Design Engineer at TAQA Water in Cairo, Egypt.
Perform the Process Design & Equipment Selection for RO Desalination Projects.
Perform Detailed Process Design Package [Hydraulic, Mechanical & Chemical] Calculations.
Prepare Layouts, Process Flow Diagrams [PFD], Process & Instrumentation Diagrams [P&ID].
Develop the Control Philosophy for the Operation of RO Water Desalination Projects.
Prepare Full Project Deliverables Package [BOM] to be Procured through the Procurement Department.
Monitor & Control the Internal Backoffice Operations to Ensure the Successful Operation of Desalination Plants.
Interface with Other Internal Engineering Disciplines [Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Automation/Architecture] to Ensure Coordinated Designs & Complete Engineering Deliverables.
Study Process Problems, Analyzing Issues & Performs Necessary Design Corrective Modifications.
Follow Up on the Inside/Outside Repair Services for the Defected Equipment.
Prepare the Technical/Financial Proposals During the tendering Phase of the Desalination Projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Engineering Process Design and Process Engineering Skill
Expertise in Water Treatment [0-2 Years]
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to Work Collaboratively in a Team Environment
