Job description

Key Responsibilities (Desire to work in the field of water treatment and desalination plants.)

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment at water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, blowers, compressors, dosing systems, mixers, conveyors, screens, clarifiers, filters, and other rotating and static equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures using engineering principles and maintenance best practices.
  • Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhauls while minimizing operational interruptions.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, failure analysis reports, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process teams to ensure continuous plant operation.
  • Supervise contractors and external service providers during maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and applicable industry standards.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend procurement of critical mechanical components.
  • Participate in equipment commissioning, startup, testing, and acceptance of new installations.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing plant reliability and operational efficiency.

Knowledge Skills and Ability

  • Engineering bachelor's degree (Mechanical Power).
  • Fresh Graduate or 2 years of experience as Max.
  • Overall Graduation Grade is Very good.
  • Good English command.
  • knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment methods.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Reporting Skills.
