Tem are reimagining the way we all buy and sell electricity by bringing us closer together through direct transactions.

The current way we purchase energy is broken. Energy is passed through numerous intermediaries, traders, & and brokers, each taking their cut and making the cost of energy more expensive and the transmission more complex.

Tem's AI marketplace is eliminating all of that by bringing renewable energy generators next to the businesses that use their energy. The result is reduced prices for the consumer, increased profit for the renewable energy providers, and a faster transition to renewable energy

Who we are looking for

Tem is looking for a Lead front-end engineer who can be part of this exciting journey.

You will

• Design, build, deploy and maintain web applications for internal stakeholders and customers
• Deliver beautiful, responsive, interoperable and user-friendly solutions using web browser technologies
• Provide help and feedback to your colleagues, participate in team and product channels, pull-request discussions and engage in design sprints
• Gather and address technical requirements and identify new features
• Work alongside a team of 4+ technologists, designers, product managers, and adhere to our company values and culture

Who you are

• You have at least 5 years of experience in software development
• You aren't just fluent in typescript and React.js, you've mastered those languages.
• You have been part of the decision-making process around what language/frameworks to use for particular projects
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the product, as well as synchronising and aligning the requirements and design decisions with the rest of the team
• Past experience mentoring and upskilling more junior engineers
• Proven track of creating websites and user portals based on wireframes and involvement in design sprints
• You have excellent communication skills, able to work in a structured and collaborative way with UI/UX, designers and the rest of the engineering team
• Experience with Ant Design, Styled Components will be an advantage
