Job description

We are looking for a full-time Junior Bookkeeper to join our client organization which is based in Australia. This role is responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, financial administration, client invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Salary Range between MYR 4,000 - 5,500 depends on the experience.

Key Responsibilities

Finance

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including client invoicing, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly prepayment journals, accruals, and other journals as required
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant requirements

Administration & Business Support

  • Maintain internal systems in line with company policies and procedures
  • Support office operations and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day running
  • Respond to accounting and finance-related queries

Collaboration & Contribution

  • Participate in planning activities and contribute to policy and procedure development within the role scope
  • Work closely with team members to support continuous improvement and business objectives
  • Manage daily workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain productivity

Requirements

  • A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • A good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Willingness to learn and work with new technologies and accounting platforms (e.g. Xero)
  • Close attention to detail and strong data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients
