Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Application Program Interface (API) Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of our API solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test plans, test scenarios and test cases for API testing.
  • Execute automated tests to identify issues and defects.
  • Develop test scripts for API automation.
  • Analyze and report on test results.
  • Investigate, debug, and document issues found during testing.
  • Work with development and product teams to ensure proper resolution of issues.
  • Research and stay abreast of current technologies and trends in API testing.
  • Create and maintain relevant technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software testing experience.
  • Extensive experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and different types of testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium and JMeter is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must speak English fluently and have good English writing skills.
