Job description:
Technical skills:
- Oracle Data Architect experience
- Performance tuning experience (Indexing, Tuning, query optimization, refactoring)
- Troubleshooting experience (Investigations on stored procedures, queries etc.)
- Modeling skills (Build/analyze physical logical models)
- Experience with Architecture best practices including working with large volumes (Scalability, reusability, reliability etc.)
- Leadership & mentorship skills to coach other team members.
Soft skills: collaborative, flexible, team player, approachable
- Report directly to Darek. Communicates via Chat, needs to be comfortable with quick chat communications. Direct communication
Additional nice to have skill sets:
- Databricks
- Lense: What provides the best value to the company (this is critical for a report to work/ peak season view).
Primary Skills:-
* Expert-level experience with investigating, troubleshooting, and optimizing Oracle databases
* Experience working with multi-terabyte RAC and Exadata systems
* Hands-on experience designing and architecting database objects and data integrations that are readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, and performable
* Understanding of Oracle Data Guard
* Solid understanding of data structures, interactions between software applications, and databases
* Demonstrated ability to leverage the appropriate database technology based on business use cases (i.e. RDBMS, Document, Key-Value, etc.)
* Proven ability to mentor and train others on design and use of best practices
* Proven ability to design for ilities across distributed systems (scalability, security, reusability, maintainability, extensibility, testability, reliability, etc.)
