DXC is seeking a highly experienced AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM) Cloud senior developer. The senior developer will join a talented, experienced and functionally diverse team that delivers Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM solutions to our clients. This person will be responsible for the evolution of the enterprise AEM Assets for a global client. This position will continuously and strategically assess and improve the platform and ensure that it continues to meet client needs.
As a Senior Developer, you will Enhance the AEM Assets platform around the customizations and configuration of metadata/taxonomy structure. Maintain and apply AEM DAM industry standards. Responsibilities will include monitoring existing AEM DAM functionality and working with Adobe support for optimal AEM DAM operations. Act as a liaison for business stakeholders. Assist in onboarding training for new users to ensure smooth operations. Document bugs, perform remediation, and assist in AEM DAM Cloud feature improvements. Stay current on emerging trends in the DAM space. Create, monitor and troubleshoot workflows/scripts. Run standard reports and summarize trends for asset usage, adoption, and delivery
Qualifications Include Required
6+ years' experience in AEM with at least 2+ years of AEM DAM Cloud experience.
2+ years relevant work experience in digital asset creation, management, and
publishing. Experience conceptualizing, designing, building, and deploying AEM
features/functions/integrations.
Current certification as AEM Assets Developer or AEM Developer
Experience implementing Adobe AEM DAM Cloud
Prior AEM as a Cloud Service commercial experience is required
Lead back-end development that drives the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
DAM implementation and produces Java libraries, JCR, Apache Sling, OSGi
services, AEM Query builder and Indexing, etc.
Expert level development skills in AEM and Java
Install, configure, and manage core code bundles and their configurations
Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML.
Design efficient security models, and workflows
Experience with integrating AEM with other products and vendors
Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse
Exposure to open-source technologies
Experienced with DevOps best practices
Preferred
Experience integrating AEM Assets with Creative Cloud.
Self-motivated and strong team player.
Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams.
Experience working with geographically separate project teams.
