Business Analyst

6 Months Contract

100% Remote

Details of the role:

Client wants to move a percentage of the claims payments currently made via paper checks to payments made via Virtual Credit Cards (VCC). This is a revenue opportunity and will also help drive providers from paper check payments to Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) payments. Need a Business Analyst with background in healthcare provider payments, VCC, Amisys knowledge, to understand current process and establish roadmap for VCC implementation. There will be multiple workstreams, including API using .NET, Dashboards utilizing MicroStrategy.

Key responsibilities:

Project objectives/measures of success:

Enable provider set up at third-party vendor
Enable claims payments via virtual credit cards
Migrate paper check / EOP (Explanation of Payment) communications to 835s
Enable key reports / dashboards
Rollout the new capabilities to all Health Plans
Work in Jira/Confluence for direction and planning
Analysis and building roadmap for VCC implementation

Required Skills:

Amisys knowledge
Healthcare payments experience
Expert in Business analysis for Healthcare Payers
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience.
Good understanding of Data structure, Object Oriented Programming, Object-Oriented Analysis, Design best practices and modeling concepts
Knowledge on various project execution methodologies (Agile)
Knowledge on project management tools like JIRA.
