Collaborate with application SMEs, tech leads, and DBAs to map inbound/outbound data flow and sensitive data exchange; create custom data obfuscation rules as identified
Apply data obfuscation rules to identified fields, build masking jobs, execute unit tests, fix defects during integration testing, and prepare ongoing maintenance plans for masking jobs

Job description

Test Data Management Consultant 100% Remote
Start date: March 1^st
Rate - DOE

Education & Experience

5+ years of TDM developer experience Installation, configuration, development and troubleshooting
Hands on expertise with Delphix Masking Installation, configuration, development and troubleshooting
Experience working with SQL Server and having strong SQL skills
Experience creating custom algorithms using Delphix sdk developer kit.
Programming skills using python, java, java script
Synthetic data generation using a GenRocket toolset
Performs the PHI/PII profiling activities for identifying sensitive data across data sources
Analysis & documentation of profiling results to understand the various data patterns and data types for which obfuscation algorithms needs to be applied
Work with application SME's, tech leads, DBA's to understand the inbound/outbound data flow and sensitive data exchange between in scope data sources (as applicable)
Create custom data obfuscation rules as required for specific data field patterns identified as part of data profiling
Apply data obfuscation rules to sensitive data fields identified as part of test data profiling and create the masking jobs
Execution and unit testing of masking jobs
Responsible for fixing defects identified during integration testing phase (if defects are resulting from the in scope obfuscated sources); Provide defect triage support as needed
Prepare the ongoing maintenance plan for the masking jobs created using the TDM tool.
