Roles & Responsibilities

6+ years of programming experience
Intermediate understanding of data analysis and design concepts
Intermediate ETL concepts with data reporting and advanced SQL (Microsoft T-SQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with on-premises ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, IBM DataStage) and cloud ETL concepts/tools (AWS Glue, Matillion ETL for Snowflake); knowledge of AWS cloud principles

Requirements:

Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using on-premises tools (SSIS, Informatica, IBM DataStage) and cloud-based solutions (AWS Glue, Matillion for Snowflake)
Design and implement SQL queries and data reporting solutions; ensure data quality and accuracy
Collaborate in an Agile environment; participate in requirement analysis, design, and deployment; manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
Work with cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud ETL concepts; stay current with best practices in data integration and governance

Job description

Position: ETL Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE

Description:
6+ years programming experience.
Intermediate understanding of (Systems & Data) Analysis and Design concepts is preferred.
Intermediate understanding of ETL concepts, Data Reporting, advanced SQL queries (Microsoft T-SQL & PostgreSQL) strongly preferred.
Intermediate understanding of Python is a plus.
Intermediate familiarity with on-premises ETL tools & technologies (SSIS, Informatica, IBM DataStage) preferred.
Understanding/knowledge of AWS Cloud principles preferred.
Intermediate understanding of cloud ETL/ELT concepts & tools (AWS Glue, Matillion ETL for Snowflake, etc.) is preferred
Familiarity with Agile project methodology preferred.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and multi-task to meet deadlines.
