Roles & Responsibilities

  • Basic experience with AWS services (MGN, EC2, ELB, VPC, Route53, S3) and monitoring tools
  • Configuration management using CloudFormation and AWS Systems Manager
  • Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment
  • Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies and troubleshooting migration-related issues

Requirements:

  • Work as a member of a 3-4-person Migration Pod to implement migration strategies to move on-prem workloads to the AWS Cloud
  • Integrate AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, etc., and troubleshoot migration-related issues
  • Configure and manage infrastructure using CloudFormation and AWS Systems Manager; perform Linux and Windows administration in cloud or virtualized environments
  • Collaborate with customers' technical resources to devise and recommend solutions based on requirements; coordinate with offshore consultants to maintain a 6-hour overlap with US Eastern time

Role: Migration Consultant
Location: REMOTE 100%

· Work as a member of a 3-4-person Migration Pod to implement migration strategies (infrastructure movement techniques) to move on-prem workloads to AWS Cloud

· Basic experience with and knowledge of the primary AWS services (MGN, EC2, ELB, VPC, Route53, S3, & monitoring tools)

· Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Client, SAP etc.

· Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments

· Configuration management using CloudFormation & AWS Systems Manager

· Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment

· Experience and knowledge to troubleshoot migration-related issues.

· Work directly with customers' technical resources to devise and recommend solutions based on the understood requirements

· Previous experience working with Client Aerospace workloads is a plus

· Offshore consultants are requested to maintain >6 working hours overlap with U.S. Eastern time zone-based consultants
