An electrical engineering degree from an accredited university program.
4-6 years of experience in electrical engineering for electric distribution networks.
Experience using ADMS tools to assess the power flow convergence of electric distribution circuits (OSI's ADMS preferred; other leading ADMS vendors such as Client, ABB, and Schneider acceptable).
Ability to identify issues in non-converging electric distribution circuits and coordinate resolutions with the team or AEP's Distribution team as needed.
Requirements:
Lead a team of power engineers working on the power flow validation of substations and circuits using the tools and functionality provided in ADMS.
Identify and troubleshoot issues causing non-converging distribution circuits and guide resolution either by the internal team or by AEP's Distribution team as appropriate.
Utilize ADMS tools to assess power flow convergence and validate the performance of distribution networks.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely validation deliverables and maintain thorough documentation.
